    Ashtanga Yoga is a system of Hatha Yoga that uses vinyasa (flowing style) wherein breath and movement are synchronized together through a progressive series of postures.

    Ashtanga yoga is a meditation-in-motion that offers a powerful mind/body connection.  While muscles get stretched and strengthened and organs purified, the mind becomes focused and calmed.

    When this method is practiced with patience and mindful awareness, the result is a strong and supple body, increased vitality, greater inner peace and a calmer mind.
